Dec. 21: Basketball vs. Concordia-St. Paul

Doubleheader at Taylor Center features women's, men's games at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

Mankato, Minn. -- The Minnesota State Mankato men's and women's basketball teams will play host to Concordia-St. Paul in a doubleheader at Taylor Center on Saturday, Dec. 21.

The women's game is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start, with the men's game scheduled to tip off at 4 p.m.

Tickets are $10 for adult general admission tickets, $5 for youth (ages 5-17) general admission tickets and free for youth under 5 years old.

Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office on the day of the game (opens one hour prior to game time). For questions about advance ticket purchases, call 507-389-6111.

The Minnesota State Mankato and Concordia-St. Paul women's and men's teams already played each other once this season, with the Mavericks winning both of those games in a Nov. 30 doubleheader in St. Paul. The Maverick women's team won 87-63, while the Maverick men's team won 81-64.

The Minnesota State Mankato women's team is 6-3 overall and 3-2 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. The Mavericks will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak after dropping games at Wayne State (79-64 loss) on Friday and at Augustana (86-82 loss) on Saturday. The Minnesota State Mankato men's team is 10-2 overall and 4-1 in the NSIC. The Mavericks have won two in a row, winning 86-55 at Wayne State on Friday and winning 86-81 at Augustana on Saturday. For more information on the Mavericks men's team, click here.
