Jan. 14: Comedian Ronnie Jordan
Stand-up act is free to students and general public.

Mankato, Minn. – Stand-up comedian Ronnie Jordan (pictured at right) will perform at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14 in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Jordan’s comedy act, recommended for adult audiences, is free to Minnesota State Mankato students and the Mankato area community.
There will be free parking the night of the performance in all campus Gold Lots after 6:30 p.m. Parking is also available for a small fee in the university pay lot just south of the Centennial Student Union. For additional parking information please visit the parking website here.
The student programming board of Minnesota State Mankato’s Centennial Student Union, IMPACT, is sponsoring Jordan’s visit to campus. IMPACT - Innovative Memorable Programming Achieving Campus Togetherness - is advised by staff in the Student Activities Office and plans events funded through student activity fees.

From the very start, funny man Ronnie Jordan has proven that he’s a comedy force. After only one year on the comedy scene, the kid voted “wittiest” in high school was crowned “Rookie of the Year” in 2001 by the famed Uptown Comedy Corner in Atlanta, Ga.
As one of the country’s hottest up and coming comedians, Jordan is quickly making a name for himself as a comic’s comic who has shared concert dates with such stand-up heavyweights as Rickey Smiley, Bruce Bruce, Earthquake, Mike Epps, Arnez J. and Dave Chappelle.
Jordan became the crowd favorite on the Miller Lite King and Queens of Comedy Search Tour and served as an opening act on the Queens of Comedy 12-city tour which featured famed female comedians Sommore, Monique and Adelle Givens.
Last spring, Jordan broke college touring records by touring 102 colleges in 112 days. He also broke booking records his first year with Auburn Moon Agency.
