UPDATE: University to Close Until Noon on Monday, Jan. 27

All daytime classes on Monday, Jan. 27 are cancelled.

Mankato, Minn. -- Minnesota State University, Mankato President Richard Davenport announced tonight that the University will close effective at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 26, and all University offices will re-open at 12 p.m. (noon) on Monday, Jan. 27.

All "weather-essential employees," as designated in accordance with MnSCU Board Policy 4.4, and identified by their respective vice president(s), are to report to work. If concerned about travel or the inability to travel due to road closures, “weather-essential” employees should contact their supervisors immediately. Any additional updates will be provided if weather conditions change.

As a reminder, all daytime classes at Minnesota State Mankato have been cancelled for Monday, Jan. 27.

Evening classes for Monday, Jan. 27 are still scheduled.

Any decision to cancel evening classes will be made no later than 2:30 p.m. on Monday.

Minnesota State Mankato, a comprehensive university with 15,409 students, is part of the Minnesota State Colleges & Universities system, which comprises 31 state institutions.
