New Jet Flight Simulator demonstrations available in open house at Wiecking Center.

Mankato, Minn. – The Department of Aviation at Minnesota State University, Mankato will be giving demonstrations of the new Aviation Flight Jet Simulator on campus during at open house from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, May 1 at Wiecking Center (Room B133).

The open house, featuring demonstrations, conversations and light hors d’oeuvres, is free and open to the general public. There will be a short presentation at 1:30 p.m.

Parking is available in Lot 18 (gold lot), which has an entrance on Ellis Avenue. There will be signs inside of Wiecking Center with directions to the open house.

The jet flight simulator, an Aerosim CRJ700 Flight Training Device, was purchased and is owned by North Star Aviation, which agreed to have it installed on campus for the benefit of students in the Minnesota State Mankato Department of Aviation.
