Sept. 15-29: Professor Liz Miller Art Exhibit

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato professor Liz Miller’s art work will be on display in an exhibit titled “Splendiferous Jungle Warfare (remix)” from Monday, Sept. 15 through Monday, Sept. 29 in Minnesota State Mankato’s Conkling Gallery.

Miller’s art, which includes installations and works on paper, will be on display at 139 Nelson Hall, the Conkling Gallery, during gallery hours (9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday).

There will be an opening reception for Miller at 7 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 15 at the Conkling Gallery. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

Liz Miller received her bachelor of fine arts degree from the Rhode Island School of Design and her master of fine arts degree from the University of Minnesota. Miller’s art has been featured in solo and group exhibitions across the United States and abroad.

Her work has been featured in publications that include art ltd, Art in America, The Huffington Post and Daily Serving. Miller lives and works in Good Thunder, Minn. She is professor of installation and drawing at Minnesota State Mankato.

Miller’s art is on display as a Nadine B. Andreas Endowment Faculty Research Award Exhibition. The Nadine B. Andreas Endowment supports the College of Arts and Humanities by helping to bring guest artists and scholars to campus.
