'What's Your Commute?'
University's Environmental Committee asks campus community to fill out survey to promote green campus.
Minnesota State University, Mankato Media Relations Office Announcement, 4-9-2015
Sent on behalf of Louis Schwartzkopf, Co-Chair, Environmental Committee:
What’s Your Commute?
In working to make Minnesota State University, Mankato a cleaner, greener campus we are asking: What’s Your Commute? How do you get to & from campus?
Minnesota State Mankato’s Environmental Committee is updating Minnesota State Mankato’s Carbon Footprint, also known as a Greenhouse Gas Inventory. The first “baseline” study was completed two years ago, and the results are posted HERE.
Use of fuels commuting to and from campus provides a meaningful, measureable metric for this update.
The following is a brief survey which will help us with this year’s results. Please take just a few minutes to complete the survey no later than April 24, 2015:
STUDENTS: EACH INDIVIDUAL COMPLETING THE STUDY WILL BE ENTERED INTO A DRAWING FOR A $25 GIFT CERTIFICATE AT BARNES & NOBLE BOOKSTORE.
Faculty and staff: there is no prize……but you can feel good about yourselves by helping our campus measure and find means of improving the global environment.
Thank you for your participation in keeping Minnesota State Mankato clean & green!
