Minnesota State University, Mankato Department of Theatre & Dance 4-14-15

Minneapolis-based Stuart Pimsler Dance & Theater (SPDT) will present an evening of repertory selections from the company’s 36-year history at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 25, in the Ted Paul Theatre of the Earley Center for Performing Arts on the Minnesota State University, Mankato campus. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased beginning at 6:30 p.m. that night at the Theatre & Dance Box Office in the lobby of the Earley Center.

SPDT will perform their newest work, "Bohemian Grove," and signature repertory; "The Men from the Boys" and "Tales from the Book of Longing."  This performance willfollow a weeklong residency with students in the Department of Theatre & Dance.

The show will feature SPDT’s eight company artists: Suzanne Costello, Brian Evans, Heather Klopchin, Kari Mosel, Jesse Neumann-Peterson, Stuart Pimsler, Timmy Wagner and Roxane Wallace Patterson. Experience an evening of "choreography with exquisite abandon" as the company reveals "the urgency of expectation and the vulnerability that comes with a bared soul” (Minneapolis Star Tribune).
