Mankato, Minn. – Student Activities at Minnesota State University, Mankato is organizing the seventh annual “Dam Bike Ride” on Wednesday, June 24.

The event, sponsored by the Student Activities crew every summer, takes riders on a 12- mile bike ride from the Centennial Student Union at Minnesota State Mankato to the Rapidan Dam and back.

Riders will meet in front of Centennial Student Union at the CSU fountain prior to the 3 p.m. departure time. The event is free and open to the public, and no registration is needed.

Participants will have the option of breaking up the ride with a slice of homemade pie at the Rapidan Dam store café. And while the ride is free, the pie does cost whatever the going rate for a slice of pie is at the café.
