Consolidated Communications Community Fund Makes $20,000 Donation to University
Gift includes $10,000 to underwrite the fall mainstage musical, "Titanic."

Mankato, Minn. – The Consolidated Communications Community Fund recently presented Minnesota State University, Mankato with a $20,000 donation.

The generous gift from Consolidated Communications included $10,000 designated to underwrite the Minnesota State Mankato Department of Theatre & Dance’s fall mainstage musical, “Titanic,” $5,000 designated for scholarships benefitting students in the College of Education’s Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) program and another $5,000 for university-wide need based scholarships.
Mike Olsen, director of sales for Consolidated Communications, presented Paul Hustoles, chair of the Department of Theatre & Dance, with the donation during a campus visit on Wednesday, Sept. 30.
