Oct. 20-21: 2015 Career & Internship Expo

More than 180 employers will attend this year's event.

Mankato, Minn. – More than 180 employers are participating in the 2015 Career & Internship Expo on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 20-21 in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Centennial Student Union Ballroom.

The event, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day, is free for students and alumni. On Tuesday, a variety of employers in the disciplines of science, engineering, technology, construction and healthcare will be featured. On Wednesday, employers from disciplines in business, communications and human services will be featured.

Last year’s event was attended by more than 1,200 Minnesota State Mankato students.

At the event, first-year and sophomore students are encouraged to explore positions and fields of study, get more information about specific organizations and employers and develop a network of contacts. Juniors, seniors and internship/job seekers are encouraged to meet and engage with potential employers and professionals in their fields.

The Career & Internship Expo is the premier event held by the Career Development Center at Minnesota State Mankato. The primary objective of the Career Development Center is to provide services and resources to assist students and graduates with career planning and the search for employment.
