Nov. 18: International Poetry Recital

Faculty, staff, students and the community are invited to attend.

Minnesota State University, Mankato's Department of World Languages and Cultures will be holding an International Poetry Recital on Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 2-3:30 p.m., during the International Education and Cultural Diversity Weeks, in the Casual Lab of Memorial Library (ML 45).

Faculty, staff, students, and other members of the Mankato community are all invited to attend and participate. Anybody interested in participating should fill out an online form.

In the registration form, those requesting to participate will be asked to provide the poem in its original language, an English translation, the author of the poem (your name if it’s your own creation), and your personal information. The deadline for submission of poems is Friday, Nov. 6.

There will be snacks and refreshments, sponsored by the Kearney International Center.
