Students Raising Money for Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare

The student organization Dance Marathon is accepting donations until Feb. 28.

Mankato, Minn. -- A Minnesota State University, Mankato student organization, Dance Marathon, is raising money and accepting cash donations for Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare through Sunday, Feb. 28 at noon. To donate, click here.

The students have set a fundraising goal of $20,000, and as of Dec. 22 had raised $2,487.

The Dance Marathon student organization raises money all year, with the culminating event being the annual dance marathon. This year's dance marathon will be held Saturday, Feb. 27 from 2-10 p.m. in the Centennial Student Union Ballroom. Check-in for participants begins at 1 p.m.

Minnesota State Mankato students are encouraged to register a dance team at the event -- cost is $25 to participate. All proceeds to to Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare. Participants will enjoy free food & entertainment as well as stories from families who seek medical support from Gillette Children's Specialty Healthcare.
