Nov. 15: Addressing Intimate Partner Violence in LGBTQ Relationships

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Violence and Awareness Response Program, LGBT Center and OutFront Minnesota's Anti-Violence Program are sponsoring a presentation on the presence of intimate partner violence in LGBTQ relationships Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in Centennial Student Union’s Rooms 253/4/5.

The event will explore the experiences, challenges and barriers for LGBTQ individuals who may be experiencing violence in their relationships. The presentation will also detail what resources are available for survivors and any gaps that may exist in those services.

The event is free and open to the public, but an RSVP is required, as a limited number of seats are available. Lunch will be provided. RSVP to David Gardner at to reserve a spot.

The event is the fourth in a series of four that have been held this fall in an effort to support the prevention of domestic violence.
