Mavericks Men's Hockey Games to be Carried by Comcast

The team's six remaining regular season home games will be broadcast in Minneapolis-St. Paul on Comcast.

Mankato, Minn. --- Through an agreement reached with Comcast, Minnesota State University, Mankato men's hockey games will be available in Minneapolis-St. Paul beginning this weekend.

Not including postseason play, the Mavericks have six remaining home regular-season games:

  • Jan. 13 Bowling Green, 7:07 p.m.
  • Jan. 14 Bowling Green, 7:07 p.m.
  • Jan. 27 Lake Superior State, 7:07 p.m.
  • Jan. 28 Lake Superior State, 7:07 p.m.
  • Feb. 17 Northern Michigan, 7:07 p.m.
  • Feb. 18 Northern Michigan, 7:07 p.m.

The games will be available in the Twin Cities on Comcast's XFINITY Events Channel (ch. 999).

Maverick men's hockey home games, which have been televised locally on cable since the 2001-02 season and are produced by award-winning BLC Studios, feature Don Westphal (play-by-play) and Dan McCargar (analyst).

Maverick men's hockey games are available in the Mankato market on Charter channels 191 and 826.

Minnesota State, which owns a 13-7-2 record, hosts Bowling Green in a pair of home league games this Friday and Saturday.
