Oct. 18: 'Doing Happiness' Lecture by Matt Glowacki
Event will be in Centennial Student Union's Ostrander Auditorium.

Mankato, Minn. – Public speaker Matt Glowacki will speak about “Doing Happiness” Wednesday, Oct. 18 at 7 p.m. Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Centennial Student Union’s Ostrander Auditorium.
Glowacki’s presentation is free and open to the public and will be followed by a meet and greet and refreshments.
The event is intended to recognize Disability Awareness Month. Glowacki is being brought to campus by Minnesota State Mankato’s Student Events Team along with Accessibility Resources at the University.
According to a description on Glowacki’s website, his “Doing Happiness” presentation “teaches people how to be a better friend, partner, or person, by living in the moment and understanding how interactions affect us all.”
According to his website, Glowacki is from Wisconsin and was born without legs. He has given presentations at numerous colleges and universities around the United States on how to find happiness and overcome adversity and challenges in life.
