Nov. 8: All Marine Radio Host, Founder Mike McNamara

Retired Marine Corps office will discuss "Post Traumatic Winning."

Mankato, Minn. – Mike McNamara, a retired Marine Corps officer who is the host and founder of daily internet radio show All Marine Radio, will discuss “Post Traumatic Winning” Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in Minnesota State University, Mankato’s Heritage Room, located on the main level of the University’s Centennial Student Union.

The event is free and open to the public. Those who deal with veterans and military or civilian victims of trauma are encouraged to attend. Prior to the event, a reception will be held at 7 p.m. in Minnesota State Mankato’s Veterans Resource Center (Centennial Student Union Room 167).

In a preview of McNamara’s talk, Tim Adams, military & veteran student success coordinator at Minnesota State Mankato, wrote that McNamara will discuss that “we need to accept the trauma in our past and learn to use common sense ideas to build the strongest post-trauma life possible.”
