Have you been assigned to a room?

Find out by logging in to Minnesota State University, Mankato E-services.

You will need your TechID/PIN or the username/password you have set up. After you log in, choose Housing and Dining on the blue left menu. 

If you can't remember your TechID/PIN:

Look up your Tech ID?
Look up your Tech ID Password?

2015-2016 Residents 

If you've made a reservation but haven't been assigned a room yet...

Don't worry! After June 20 we continually assign students to rooms. Check E-services weekly to see if there is a change in your room assignment status.

Requesting a room change before the semester begins:

You may change your room preference by updating your application through E-services by May 20.

After June 20, but before August 15 you may complete a [PDF] Room Change Request form (197 KiB) (Available June 20). Submit your form to the Department of Residential Life by fax, mail, email, or in person. You and a friend may also use this form to request to be moved to an available room so that you may be roommates. Your room change request will be considered until August 15.

If your room assignment or roommate changes, we will notify you by email. You can also check your room assignment online anytime. Once we have changed your assignment, your former room will be available immediately to other students and you will not have the option to change back to your former assignment. Room change requests will be considered in the order they are received.

If we are not able to accommodate your request by this date, you will have the opportunity to change rooms during Room Change Days on the third Monday and Tuesday after classes begin.

Room Change Days for 2015-2016:

    September 8-9 - Residents may request a room change at the Residential Life office and changes will be
     processed on the spot. 
     After September 9
- Room change request forms will be available at the
     front desk of each community and will be managed by the Student Services Coordinator.

     January 25-26
- Residents may request a room change at the Residential Life office and changes will be
      processed on the spot. 
     After January 26
- Room change request forms will be available at the
     front desk of each community and will be managed by the Student Services Coordinator.

NOTE: Due to the number of students in the residence communities, room change opportunities may be limited.  Residents who have arranged to swap rooms will have the opportunity to change rooms.
