Stadium Heights Summer Housing Contract
Current residents of Stadium Heights Residence Community (as of Friday, March 4, 2016) are eligible to stay in their current apartment over the summer (see Duration, below).
Eligible residents signing up by Friday, April 29 either in the Residential Life Office at 111 Carkoski Commons or at the Stadium Heights Office will have $30 billed to their Minnesota State University, Mankato student account.
Between Saturday, April 30 and Friday, May 6, residents signing up will have $100 billed to their student account.
The opportunity to sign up for Stadium Heights Summer Housing ends at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2016.
Residents contracting for Stadium Heights Summer Housing are authorized to be in the Stadium Heights Residence Community from 7 p.m. Friday, May 6 to 4:00 p.m. Monday, July 25.
- Residents with a room assignment in their current apartment and bedroom for Fall Semester 2016 will contine in the same room through the start of the Minnesota State Mankato 2016-2017 Housing Contract.
- Residents with a room assignment in Stadium Heights for Fall Semester 2016 but not in their current bedroom will check out of their current bedroom and in to their new apartment and/or bedroom at an appointment agreed upon with Residential Life Staff but not later than noon on Friday, August 5.
- Residents with a room assignment in a Minnesota State Mankato Residence Community other than Stadium Heights for Fall Semester 2016 may request an Interim Housing Contract from Monday, July 25 to Monday, August 15. Interim Housing is located in McElroy H Hall. On Monday, August 15 students in Interim Housing will move to their fall room assignment. There is no additional charge for Interim Housing.
Written notice of the cancellation must be provided to the Department of Residential Life. The Stadium Heights summer housing charge will be refunded if cancellation is received by the Department of Residential Life on or before 12:00 p.m. (noon) Friday, May 6. No refunds will be given for cancellations received by the Department of Residential Life after Friday, May 6.
Residents are required to live in the room to which they have been assigned and may not access (or allow guests to access) other resident rooms within their living unit without the permission of the room resident if contracted for the summer, or the Department of Residential Life.
