What Is Our Mission?

Recognizing that the ultimate responsibility for success lies with you, the student, Student Support Services promotes self-advocacy and leadership. The mission of SSS is to provide you with academic, cultural, career-oriented, and social activities to enhance your college experience. All program activities are designed to help you continue your education and achieve academic success.

Who Do We Serve?

Student Support Services provides services to one hundred seventy-five students each year. Each participant must be enrolled in an education program at Minnesota State University, Mankato. Participants are identified and selected based on one of the following: economic status, first generation college student (neither parent has a baccalaureate degree), or individuals with disabilities.
