ECHO Food Shelf

ECHO Food Shelf's mission is to help people living in Blue Earth County and North Mankato with food assistance. ECHO Food Shelf receives donations from the local community, where healthy meals are distributed to families facing food insecurity.

Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, Mankato, provides ECHO Food Shelf 60 meals per week.

 


Salvation Army

The Salvation Army is an international movement, sharing in the mission of Christ for the salvation and transformation of the world. Its members are at worship and at work in over a hundred countries. Salvation Army helps people in crisis during natural disasters, helps seniors, and collects money during the Christmas holiday for the people all over the country.

Meals are delivered to Maxfield Place, a program of the Salvation Army. Between 10-16 meals are shared with them weekly.


Maple River Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry

The Maple River Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry addresses food insecurity in Amboy, Good Thunder, Beauford, and Mapleton.  Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, Mankato primarily shares bread products and whole foods with this partner on a weekly basis.


Campus Cupboard

Located adjacent to Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, Mankato, the Campus Cupboard serves as a food shelf for students in the Mankato area. Regardless of the school you attend, if you are in need of food assistance, visit the Campus Cupboard during their regular hours of operation and show your student id and you will receive assistance. Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, Mankato, shares bread products, soup and sandwiches with this partner on a weekly basis.


MY Place Mankato (Formerly Boys & Girls Club)

Campus Kitchen at Minnesota State University, Mankato partners with MY Place (formerly Boys and Girls Club of Mankato) to provide a 'kid-friendly' and healthy meal. Each meal includes fruits and veggies, and occasionally healthy games and quizzes for each meal. Sack lunches are provided for 60 youth, and additional bread products are donated to the youth. 


Open Door Health Center

Open Door Health Center (ODHC) is an independently owned and operated non-profit health center, providing quality care and affordable medical, dental and behavioral health care to all people in Southern Minnesota. A limited quantity of food is provided to support clients on their path to wellness.


South Central College

Weekly, an MSU, Mankato student delivers 1-2 boxes of food for distribution to students at the North Mankato campus.
