Career Data Center

Minnesota State System Board Policy Minnesota State Board Policy 3.31, asks that all Minnesota State colleges and universities, including Minnesota State Mankato, gather information on the status of graduates within one year of graduation. Information is collected via print, online, and telephone surveys and supplemented by staff research. All individual responses are held in confidence. The survey results are summarized to provide current and prospective students with information useful for selecting major programs and determining job markets. The results below include graduates from 2014-2015 to 2018-2019. Information will be updated as it becomes available.

We also gather other data pertinent to your job as a faculty or staff member. We have included links to find who the internship coordinators are for the various departments on campus and sites where students have taken an internship in the past. In addition, we have collected and collated where international students have found employment in the past five years.

If you have questions on this or other career data, feel free to send your request to cdc@mnsu.edu and we will be in touch. At this time, we have very limited data on salaries that graduates from Minnesota State University, Mankato have received. If you are looking for salary data from specific regions and/or  majors to share with your students, salary.com and glassdoor.com are excellent resources to start that search.

Another resource to check out is the Institutional Analytics and Strategic Effectiveness university page where you can find information on specific data points that might be relevant to your department or academic unit's needs.
