The Sound of Work

 

This three minute audio collage puts into concert sounds from workplaces throughout Greater Mankato.  Listen carefully and you'll hear Dave Mutch answering the phone at his hardware store, tires being removed at Miller Motors, and a Carmel Latte being made at Dunn Brothers--to name just a few of the over thirty sounds in the piece.  With a little luck, you'll also notice a subtle point or two about contemporary work life.
