Can you afford to have the flu? Not likely. When you have the flu, your life is put on hold for several days. Protect yourself and others by getting a flu shot this year. Flu shots will be available free of charge to all State employees who present their State of MN health insurance card. Mark your calendar! Flu shots will be available for faculty and staff in Student Union Rooms 284 A and B on Tuesday, October 28, 2003, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
If you cant make this date, clinics are being held at selected State Agencies throughout Minnesota from October 6 November 20. Clinics are on a walk-in basis, so you do not need an appointment. Keep in mind that you may have to check-in with security at other locations.
Please bring your State of MN health insurance card with you to the clinic. If you do not bring a valid card, the cost is $16.00. If you cannot attend a State Agency flu shot clinic, you can also receive a vaccination free of charge at your primary care clinic.
By getting a flu shot, you help your workplace and your home stay healthy throughout the flu season. Dont let the flu stop you, get your flu shot and put the flu out of business!
