Lead the Pack Lifestyle Challenge

  • A seven week healthy lifestyle challenge
  • Lead the Pack is Back!!! Please join Becky, a Sport and Exercise Psychology graduate student, as she guides you through seven weeks of health education, goal setting and encouragement! Each week there will be new topic introduced; including calculating your BMI, counting your calories and at-home workouts! Questions are encouraged! Everyone who completes the weekly goals will be given prizes including but not limited to personal training sessions, yoga mats and water bottles!
  • This program is FREE and lasts seven weeks, with optional weight and body fat assessments conducted to help you stay on track. The program begins Tuesday October 12th and ends Tuesday November 23rd. To hold your spot in the program, email or call 262-215-0258 by October 4th.
  • Program Dates/Times:

  • Uncover reasons why a will may not be the most important estate planning document

Poker Walk

  • October 28, 2010 - 12 Noon
  • Starting Point: CSU Mall - Outside by fountain
  • Start and Finish at the Fountain.
    • You will receive 1 card at the beginning of the walk. To get the other 4 cards you need to travel to the 4 other locations.
    • You will receive a map to the other locations at the fountain.
    • Look for Orange cardboard boxes with the Wellness Committee Logo, cards will be inside the cardboard box.
    • Take the top card .
    • No trading cards, please (honor system).
    • The route to the locations is your choice, once you have been to all 4 stations you may return to the fountain.
    • Rubber-band your cards together and write your name and phone number on a post-it note and attach to your cards.
    • Hand your cards in to the coordinator at the fountain.
    • 5 best cards will win.
  • You will be notified if you won a prize.
  • Winners will be listed on the Wellness Committee’s web page.
  • Top 3 hands will win a prize.
  • Order of winning hands:
    • Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind,
    • Full House, Flush,
    • Straight, Three of a Kind,

    • Bruce graduated from the University of Minnesota–Morris with the intention of becoming a teacher but found he had a passion for financial consulting. A leader in the financial industry since 1982, Bruce is the president of Wealth Enhancement Group and has been hosting WCCO’s “Your Money” radio show for over 10 years. Bruce’s wholehearted dedication to his clients shines through in his dynamic financial planning style. Bruce loves spending time with his family and coaching kids’ basketball.
    • Roger Arnold-Chief Distribution Officer, Wealth Enhancement Group
    • Roger brings over 30 years of industry experience, including a variety of management roles at life insurance and financial services organizations. Prior to joining Wealth Enhancement Group, Roger worked for a large Fortune 500 financial services membership organization. In this position, Roger led and implemented a new distribution channel, as well as other successful programs, including practice management, sales coaching and field leadership training. Roger holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Minnesota.

Bring Your Smile to Work

  • Presented by Dr. Christina Simonette of the St. Peter Family Dental Center
  • Tuesday, November 30th from Noon - 12:45pm
  • Centennial Student Union, Room 201 (Searing Room)
  • This presentation will feature Dr. Christina Simonette of the St. Peter Family Dental Center. 
  • Christina's "Hot Topic" will be "Everything you ever wanted to know about whitening your teeth and more.” 
  • Dr. Simonette received her dental degree from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and her bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota - Duluth.
  • Join Dr. Simonette as she breaks down your questions about teeth whitening - store products vs. what you can do with your own dentist. 
  • She will also cover the importance of oral cancer screenings and making sure that your overall oral health is ready for a "teeth whitening" program.
  • Dr. Simonette will also take time to answer your questions and have toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, etc. to hand out to attendees.
  • There will also be a drawing for great prizes!
