Hi Judy, thanks for your comments. If you are thinking about and struggling with some of these issues, it must mean you are going to be a great therapist. Stuttering is incredibly variable. The only person who knows what the client needs is the client, only they may not know it yet. If a therapist don't listen, and if he doesn't understand that change is hard, whether it is stuttering or losing weight or whatever, maybe he shouldn't be a therapist... Take care, Joe K.
