Thanks my friend, for your interest. Yes, I think it would empower someone who stutters to educate others on the experience of living transfluently. In Spain, we have created some toastmaster groups to educate fluent people about stuttering condition. Yes I have explored those techniques and many stutterers have tried to improve their stuttering employing pseudostuttering, with very bad results. Apart, the dissaproval to stuttering is so strong that voluntary stuttering is a very difficult technique. How many days can you stutter that way? Stutterers hate that technique. At least, most of them. Some techniques are even more idealistic than transfluency!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Cris Do you think that ? My trepidation with only considering the transfluent speaker's perspective is that this may further isolate the community as opposed to enhancing communication. 2) Have you explored any other methods of being and feeling in control of stuttering (e.g. voluntary stuttering?) I appreciate any thoughts you may have. Best, Tiffany Rogers
