I just had to write and tell you how much I enjoyed reading your paper. It was extremely eye-opening, especially coming from a graduate student who has only had the pleasure of dealing with "real professionals". I am just sorry that there are people out there like that that are able to treat others that stutter. I admire the way that you argued your points sensibly, although I do not know if I could have done the same thing if I were in your shoes! I think the important thing I learned from reading your paper is as a future SLP is that I cannot assume that everyone's situation is the same even if it is the same disorder, that I need to act compasionately, and truly understand each inidividual and where they are coming from. Thank you for your great paper. By the way, did you send a copy of this paper to that "well known professional?" I hope so. :)
