My student SLP's didn't use any techniques per se to help build my confidence. They used the prolonged vowels, easy onset, and light articulation to help me reduce the amount of stuttering I do. As my stuttering lessened, my self-confidence began to rise.

As my fluency in the clinical setting rose, I wanted to start trying to transfer that outside the clinic. The combination of the techniques that were helping and my "cheerleader" section convinced me to begin expanding my verbal horizons.--Bobby
