SPECIAL EVENT – HILLSTROM ART TOUR
Thursday, November 3
Lifelong Learners art lovers - here’s the plan. We will gather at noon to eat in the faculty dining hall (close to, but not in the student cafeteria). If you have not experienced dining at Gustavus Adolphus before, you are in for a treat. We will have fine food on white table cloth and a host of FANCY DESSERTS.
After lunch, we will go down to the Hillstrom Art Museum (no admission fee) to see The Penkhus Collection of paintings. The exhibit displays 36 English artist of animals including; livestock, racing horses, pets and foxhunting – sixty one in total.
Let’s try to car pool and enjoy company on the way over and back. Did I mention the desserts?

STATE OF U.S. FOREIGN POLICY IN 2016

Just returning from a trip to the Middle East, Tom will present his anyalysis of the latest foreign policy developments, trends and challenges facing the United States in the year ahead.
Tom Hanson is:
- A 25-year veteran with Foreign Service
- Worldwide speaker on Foreign Policy
- Director for NATO and European Affairs at the Altlantic Council of the U.S.
- Diplomat in Residence, Alworth Institute for Internatinal Affairs, UM, Duluth
Free parking in the Visitor's Lot across the street from Centennial Student Union on MSU Mankato campus - one block north of Stadium Road on Ellis Avenue
