Potluck Groups
Potluck groups are available as a way of meeting other members socially. Eight members in each group meet four times during the five-month periods Sept.-Jan. and March-July. Each potluck is held in a different members' home; host provides the entree and other members bring the vegetable, salad and dessert. In February and August, an all-member potluck is held at which time members are assigned to new groups. Potluck groups are open to couples and singles alike.
Restaurant Groups
This is a new option available this year. Wouldn't it be fun to enjoy eating out in the various restaurants in Mankato with old and new friends?
We have divided the year into three time periods: Sept-Dec, Jan-April, May-August. People can register for the time periods which suit their schedules. We will send out the new group lists in Sept., Jan., and April. We will meet for four meals during this time period with groups selecting their own restaurants. Acting upon suggestions from members, we are now forming groups of six people instead of eight to improve the ease of conversations. We welcome all members, singles and couples.

The book club called the Bookends, started in January. The group will be limited to about 15 members. Contact John Gushwa at 507-345-8528 or john.eg@charter.net if you want to join.
This will be starting in May. Professor Matthew Sewell is the presenter. This will include viewing a film and a discussion afterward.
