Community Advisors (CAs) and Apartment Community Advisors (ACAs) are student employees trained to assist residents in both their transition and ongoing success to residence hall and apartment living and college life. CAs/ACAs are responsible for tasks which include social, recreational and educational programming; peer support, and maintain an environment conducive to community and academic success.
Interviews are not guaranteed. An interview with Residential Life Staff could be set up as openings arise.

As part of the application process, two individuals need to submit a reference form on your behalf. The reference form is available online and can be saved to your computer so that you can send it to your references. It is your responsibility to provide a reference form to each of your references. Reference forms are due to Jamie Van Boxel, CA Selection Coordinator. References may be emailed to him at jamie.van-boxel@mnsu.edu). The best way to ensure that your references are submitted on time is by asking your references early.
Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the position could be invited to interview for the position. Candidates will receive their interview date and time via email. We encourage candidates to dress professionally (business casual attire is ideal).
