3M Advanced Training Center - St Paul Public School Students

The 3M Advanced Training Center is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for St Paul Public School students interested in specific career pathways. In partnership with 3M, MinnState and Heart of America, this new program allows students from any SPPS high school to get hands-on experience in high-wage, in-demand careers.

Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to take courses from university faculty and/or adjuncts. Currently, courses are offered through Minnesota State Mankato, Century College, St Paul College, Dakota County/Inver Hills CC, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, and Anoka Technical College.

Minnesota State Mankato offers students four courses in Criminal Justice. Completing all four courses will give you 12 credits (almost an entire semester of college for free)!

Courses are held off-campus on the St Paul College campus. Transportation is provided by the district to and from the space. Courses meet twice a week for about an hour and a half. Talk with your guidance counselor if you are interested in learning more. You can also email pseo@mnsu.edu and we can connect you with someone in the program.

More information on the courses can be found here:
