Minnesota State University, Mankato's Memorial Library,
constructed in 1967
and in full operation by 1969, was named in honor of those faculty and community
members who made significant contributions to the growth of the institution,
and those graduates who gave their lives in the service of their country during
several wars. The library recently underwent a significant remodeling project,
which was finished in January of 1992.
