Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Living Learning Communities

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion partnered with Academic Affairs and Residential Life to offer our multicultural students living-learning communities where they can live together in the residence halls. These partnerships are made possible by the Learning Communities office.

BE You: A Black Male Learning Community

BE YOU is the perfect learning community for those who want to understand the resources available for a positive black male experience at a predominately white institution. Within this learning community, you will gain additional support to assist with a smooth transition into university and community life. You will also have the chance to become involved with the Black Male student organizations BIG (Black Intelligent Gentleman) and BSU (Black Student Union). You will get to serve as a member of the global society by building bonds and breaking down barriers that have traditionally impeded academic success.

Multicultural Learning Community

Become socially integrated via learning experiences, learn about financial competence to continue your education and awareness for success and understand undergraduate student research. This learning community has a goal of increasing student success by providing intentional and individualized learning support in an equitable manner.
