Fall Dementia Care Conference:
This year’s event, “Innovative Therapies in Dementia Care” will focus upon diverse therapeutic options to improve the quality of life for persons experience dementia. This year’s conference will include four small group workshop sessions as well as a keynote on cutting edge research on dementia by Dr. Winnie Pao from the Mayo Health System. Registration will be available on August 26 so please check back here for the registration link.
Chesley Lecture on Aging:
Dr. Leah Rogne will be the lecturer for the 9th Annual Chesley Lecture on Aging. The date has not yet been formalized but is expected to take place in mid to late March, 2014.
Spring Palliative Care Conference:
The Spring Palliative Care Conference is currently in development. Details will be forthcoming, but the conference will likely be held in April, 2014.
Summer Ethics Workshop:
Due to the high demand for ethics training to satisfy the continuing education requirements of several professions, and because of the importance of the topic in our rapidly changing society, a two-hour ethics workshop will be held in June, 2014. Details will be forthcoming so please check back.
