Kimm Julian is an accomplished and versatile baritone who has appeared in more than 85 roles in opera, oratorio and musical theater. He has performed throughout the United States and countries such as Japan, Australia, Brazil, Ireland, Austria and Italy. His opera roles include, Rigoletto, Macbeth, Jack Rance, Scarpia, Sharpless, Horace Tabor and John Proctor. On the musical theater stage, the King - The King and I, Emile De Becque - South Pacific and most recently Don Quixote in Man of LaMancha. A native of Minnesota he received his BM from Simpson College and earned and MA and DMA from the University of Iowa. He recently joined the music faculty at Minnesota State University, Mankato where he teaches voice and directs the Opera Workshop.
