Minnesota State alumnus Melissa "Missy" Peterman starred in "Reba" on the WB as well as having had roles in movies including "Fargo."
Cedric Yarbrough had such roles as the title characer in Sweeney Todd as well as "Featured Player" in Pippin. He played Deputy Jones in "Reno 911" and has been in such movies as "Meet the Fockers" and "The 40-Year-Old Virgin."
Cedric went to and graduated from Burnsville High School, Minnesota. He has two brothers, Eni and Trevor and has a sister Amber. Attended Minnesota State University and wrote/acted sketch comedy at Dudley Riggs' Brave New Workshop in Minneapolis.
Graduates with the MFA, a terminal professional degree, find positions in professional theatre or higher education. Recent graduates of both degree programs are directors, actors, scene designers, costume designers, technical directors, professors and theatre managers. Students may find jobs while participating with faculty at the United States Institute for Theatre Technology, the Mid-America Theatre Conference, and other pofessional associations. Some graduates make a living by going from one independent project to another. These jobbers have reportedly earned between $30,000 and $200,000 per year.
