MANKATO, Minn. –  Mankato’s longtime City Mouse offshoot, The Lost Walleye Orchestra, will perform on Saturday, April 6 at 7 p.m. at Hooligans, Madison East Center, Mankato. The concert is produced by the Music Performance Series and sponsored in part by KMSU -The Maverick. The concert will also include a set by the Stacy K Band. Three Minnesota State Mankato music majors, Emma Josephine, Will Newman, and Lara de Paiva Santos will also perform during the evening.

The Lost Walleye Orchestra members have been recognized for their outstanding performance by the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame and each member has been nominated for a Minnesota Music Award in various individual and group categories.

Stacy K is an Independent Minnesota based singer-songwriter. Her music has been described as adventurous roots rock; Harry Nilsson-esq pop to Lucinda Williams like blues dirges show up in her writing. Her next album, produced by Erik Koskinen, is due to release in 2024.

Minnesota State Mankato students Emma Josephine and Will Newman are music industry songwriting majors, and Lara de Paiva Santos is a music major.

Concert admission is $15 in advance, $20 day of show. Tickets are available at Hooligans (cash sales) or online. Tickets are also available through the Performance Series office, 507-389-5549.
