Dec. 14: Maverick football's NCAA semifinal game to be livestreamed on ESPN3

Mankato, Minn. -- With a 42-21 win against Texas A&M-Commerce on Saturday, the undefeated Maverick football team (13-0 overall) advanced to the NCAA Division II football semifinals for the second consecutive year.

This year the Mavericks will travel to Slippery Rock, Pennsylvania, for a national semifinal game against undefeated Slippery Rock University (13-0 overall). Start time for Saturday's (Dec. 14) game is 11:30 a.m. Central time.

In the Mankato area, the game will also be broadcast live on the radio at 1230 AM "The Fan" Mankato.

The winner of Saturday's game will advance to the NCAA Division II national championship game, which will be played Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. Central time in McKinney, Texas, against either Ferris State or West Florida.
