Minnesota State Mankato to Provide Dental, Health Services to Active, Reserve, Retired Military on Veterans Day

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato’s College of Allied Health and Nursing is honoring active, reserve, and retired military members by offering a variety of dental, hearing, and health services available at no charge on Veterans Day (Thursday, Nov. 11).

During the “Health for Heroes” event, the public dental clinic is offering free dental cleanings, exams, x-rays, and fluoride treatments. Cleanings will be at 9am or 1pm – appointments are required by calling 507-389-2147.

The Center for Communication Sciences and Disorders will be offering free hearing screenings from 11am-1pm and from 3-5pm. No appointments are necessary for hearing screenings.

In addition to the free services, a variety of programs ranging from dietetics to recreation will be offering health and wellness resources on a drop-in basis from 11am-1pm and from 3-5pm.

The event will be held in Minnesota State Mankato’s Clinical Sciences Building, located at 150 South Road in Mankato.
