May 15: Chad Surprenant from ISG to Speak at South Central SBDC 'Behind the Success' Series Event

Mankato, Minn. – Chad Surprenant, chief strategy officer for ISG, an architecture, engineering, environmental and planning firm with offices in five states, will share his experiences from his ISG career on Wednesday, May 15 in a 4-5:15 p.m. interview and audience Q&A at Pioneer Bank (1450 Adams Street) in Mankato.

The event, presented as the latest in the South Central Small Business Development Center’s “Behind the Success” speaker series, is intended for entrepreneurs, both new and experienced. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required, and seating is limited.

According to provided event information, ISG was formed by Chad Surprenant’s father, Ken Surprenant. After earning a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Iowa State University, Chad Surprenant began a more than 29-year career at ISG. He was appointed president and CEO in 2001 and chief strategy officer in 2020. Surprenant has earned numerous professional awards, and he has served in several education, business and non-profit organizations, holding various member and leadership roles.
