MANKATO, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato's Department of Performing Arts will present a concert by Bad Liquor Management on Saturday, Oct. 28 at Hooligans, 1400 E. Madison Ave. (Madison East Center). The Paul Mayasich Band will open the show with a set starting at 7 p.m.

The concert is sponsored by the Minnesota State Mankato Performance Series.

Bad Liquor Management is led by Kit Kildahl (guitar, vocals) and Josh Gravelin (bass, high harmony vocals) and features Steve “Boom Boom” Vonderharr. Vonderharr  is a 2016 inductee into the Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame. Other members of the group have performed with an impressive list of national heavy hitters on concert stages around the region.

The Paul Mayasich Band features Paul Mayasich, a natural musical talent on guitar, especially slide. Mayasich has garnered worldwide praise from his colleagues and critics. Publications Vintage Guitar Magazine and Blues Matters UK have drawn comparisons to the work of Duane Allman, Lowell George, Roy Buchanan, Ry Cooder and Sonny Landreth.
