Aug. 10 (rescheduled): Minnesota State Mankato to Show Free Outdoor Film, ‘The Super Mario Bros. Movie’

Mankato, Minn. – Minnesota State University, Mankato has postponed tonight’s (July 27) free community outdoor film showing of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” because of excessive heat and a weather forecast of possible thunderstorms this evening.

The free movie showing has been rescheduled for 9 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 10.

The Mankato-area community is invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs along with families and friends to see the outdoor film Thursday, Aug. 10 at 9 p.m. at Minnesota State University, Mankato’s outdoor amphitheatre.

Student Activities at Minnesota State Mankato, with assistance from the University’ Centennial Student Union, will host a screening of “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” (PG rating).

The film will be projected onto an outdoor movie screen in the amphitheatre, located between the Centennial Student Union and Memorial Library. Free parking is available in Gold Lot 11 (click here for map).

Theater popcorn, candy and beverages will be available for purchase.

In case of inclement weather on Aug. 10, the film will be shown in Ostrander Auditorium, which is located in Centennial Student Union.
