Jonathan Paver, Director of Online Programs

Dr. Jonathan Paver joined the University Extended Campus as the new Director of Online Programs. In this role, he will provide strategic leadership for the online programs associated with Minnesota State Mankato ONLINE. His twenty-three-year career in higher education includes over 10 years in the Instructional Design field, working with university and community college faculty to enhance teaching and learning, integrate technology, and design online courses. In addition, Dr. Paver has over 11 years of experience in academic leadership positions in the community college sector, including leadership for online programs and compliance issues related to distance education. 

Dr. Paver earned a Doctorate of Education degree in Instructional Technology from the College of Education at Northern Illinois University. He also holds a Master of Arts degree in Religion and History, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications – Radio & Television Broadcasting.
