Thomas was raised outside of Charlotte, North Carolina and attended Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy. After graduation Thomas joined the United States Navy and worked in the nuclear propulsion field. After the Navy, Thomas moved to Mankato and began attending Minnesota State University, Mankato as a civil engineering major before switching to accounting. Thomas graduated in May of 2023 with his bachelor’s in accounting and began his Master of Accounting from Mankato as well and is expected to graduate in May of 2024 from this program. During his time on campus Thomas was president of the Veteran’s Club, is a member of Beta Alpha Psi honor society for accounting and finance, and Beta Gamma Sigma, honor society for business majors. During his time at MNSU, Thomas was an intern at MnDOT and worked at the MnROAD research facility outside of Monticello, MN.

Thomas currently is employed by RSM US LLP and works as an audit associate out of the Minneapolis, MN office.
