Legacy In-State Tuition Scholarship
Children of Minnesota State Mankato alumni will be offered in-state tuition to attend the University, no matter where they live.
The new legacy tuition policy, which mimics programs already offered at other institutions across the country, effectively eliminates any financial disincentives for children of alumni who might want to attend Minnesota State Mankato.
If one or both of a student's parents, step-parents or adopted parents graduated from Minnesota State Mankato, the student is eligible to pay in-state tuition rates. This does not include students in reciprocity states of North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin or students in programs with one tuition rate for all students regardless of residency.
