If you could give one piece of advice to incoming international students, what would it be?

Seek out and learn from the different backgrounds and life stories all around you. It might be an eye-opening experience that goes beyond academics and significantly enriches your college life. 

What's a difference between Mankato and your home country that surprised you?

Definitely the weather! Back home, I was used to temperate weather all year round, with occasional rain. But Mankato introduced me to something called 'snow' - and lots of it!
