About Courtney

I was born and raised on a farm 2 miles northeast of La Salle, MN. My dad was a grain farmer and my mom was a stay at home mom until I went to high school. I graduated from Madelia High School in 1994. I then attended 2 years of college at the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, MN. I transferred to Mankato State University going into my junior year and was accepted into the Education program. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in December of 1998 with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I keep busy laughing, loving and living life with my family and friends while running a small photography business on the side.

If I won the lottery tomorrow, I'd travel anywhere life would take me! ( And, you know, keep working here.)

The best piece of advice I've ever been given is “Be part of the solution, not the problem.”

If I could invent a holiday, it would be National SMILE Day.

If I were not so good at my job, I'd probably be a fulltime photographer.
