Monthly Payment Plan

With a flexible monthly payment plan—serviced by Nelnet Business Solutions (NBS)—you can spread out your tuition costs over time. It’s simple, interest-free, and tailored to fit your semester schedule. This plan is managed by Nelnet, not the University.

Benefits

  • No debt – not a loan
  • No interest or finance charges
  • No credit check
  • $34 enrollment fee per semester
  • Full payment option available (no fee)

Payment Options

  • Bank account (checking/savings)
    • You must have a U.S. primary address and use a U.S. bank account to enroll.
  • Credit or debit card
    • Check with your bank before using a debit card—daily limits may affect payment success

  6. Payments

Payments are auto-deducted monthly on the 5th

    • If failed, reattempted on the 20th
    • Returned payments = $30 fee
    • Returned payment fees are automatically deducted from the account you have provided.

Note:

  • If the charges for your registered courses have already posted, they’ll appear automatically when setting up your plan. You can still adjust the amount based on your estimated out-of-pocket costs.
  • A U.S. primary address and U.S. bank account are required to set up a payment plan.

Payment Adjustments after Financial Aid

After financial aid is applied, your actual balance may change. If that happens:

  • Your remaining monthly payments will be adjusted to match your updated balance
  • You’ll be notified of any changes before the next payment
  • If the new amount causes financial hardship, you can cancel your plan before the next payment is processed

Important Reminders

  • Monitor your University and Nelnet balances
  • Enrollment and returned payment fees may change
  • Interest earned on custodial funds goes to Nelnet
