Mandy Weister, Associate Director

Mandy's responsibilities include supervision of staff and oversight of the Career Development Center's (CDC) marketing & communication efforts as well as the front desk process & procedures. She is responsible for managing and coordinating CDC involvement with a variety of campus partners across the university. Mandy focuses her programmatic efforts on the needs of our choosing & changing majors students and facilitates the Majors in Minutes annual student major networking event.

Mandy provides career counseling by appointment primarily for students in the process of choosing or changing their major. Other responsibilities include: presenting workshops, management of the Career Resource Library, and coordinating online career assessments including the FOCUS, the StrengthsFinder, the Strong Interest Inventory, and the MBTI. Mandy received her Master of Science Degree in Counseling and Student Personnel: College Student Affairs from Minnesota State University, Mankato and Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Communication Studies and Philosophy from Luther College in Decorah, IA.
